Two Chicago firefighters were injured December 11 while fighting a fire at Presence Resurrection Medical Center on the northwest side of the city, according to a report from WBBM-TV.

Dozens of firefighters rushed to the fire, which started around 9:30 p.m. near the kitchen area on the second floor, and quickly spread to the hospital chapel. According to the report, the hospital suffered heavy smoke and water damage to the chapel of the facility.

Forty patients were evacuated from their rooms to another part of the hospital. A total of about 230 patients were in the hospital at the time, but no patients or hospital employees were injured in the fire. The injured firefighters were listed in good condition, the report said, adding that the fire is still under investigation.
