Man fatally shoots woman at New Jersey hospital

A shooting at a Stratford, New Jersey hospital Wednesday morning left a woman dead and a man injured after he shot himself, according to a report on the news website philly.com.

The incident, which occurred at Kennedy University Hospital-Stratford, happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. The man reportedly walked into his wife’s room, shot her, and then shot himself.

Details on the shooting were sketchy, but reports said the man was being treated for a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Cooper University Hospital in nearby Camden, where he was flown via helicopter.
