Man shoots woman at Spokane hospital, turns gun on self

Police are investigating what is being called a murder-suicide July 8 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington, according to the Spokesman-Review.
Reports say the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the Rockwood Cancer Treatment Center on the hospital campus when an unidentified man went up to the seventh floor where his wife was working in a lab. He then reportedly shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself, and he died a short time later in the hospital’s ER.
The report identified the woman as Sheena Henderson, and said the couple had two children under the age of 10. The shooting remains under investigation.
