In just under 30 minutes, this video explains OSHA's revised Hazard Communication standard. The new OSHA regulations gave medical clinics and hospitals until December 1, 2013, to train their employees on the new Globally Harmonized System (GHS), but chemical manufacturers aren't required to comply with the new regulations until June 1, 2015.
This DVD will explain the revised Hazard Communication standard, and teach viewers how to recognize the implementation dates for GHS, identify the differences between the new safety data sheets and the traditional material safety data sheet format, understand and recognize OSHA’s new pictograms when they arrive at your facility, and list the elements that are required for labels.
Join Marge McFarlane, an independent safety consultant with over 38 years of healthcare experience, and a reviewer for the HCPro, Inc., Medical and Dental OSHA Manuals and OSHA e-learning programs, as she explains everything you’ll need to know about the new GHS requirements.
