A kitchen fire at a hospital in Norman, Okla. was extinguished Tuesday night, forcing the evacuation of employees at the facility but causing no injuries to patients.
The Norman Transcript reports the fire broke out in the kitchen area of the Norman Regional Hospital, where apparently there were repairs being done to the facility’s roof over the employee cafeteria.
Fire officials gave the all clear at around 4:30 p.m. last night, but not before cafeteria and kitchen employees evacuated, the paper reported. The cause of the fire is reportedly still under investigation by the Norman Fire Marshal.
