News Brief: OSHA's measures to reduce construction falls extended

OSHA has extended its temporary enforcement measures in residential construction for another 3 months through Dec. 15.

The agency pointed out that fatalities from falls are the leading cause of workplace death in construction. OSHA’s measures aim to help reduce these falls through priority free on-site compliance assistance, penalty reductions, extended abatement dates, measures to ensure consistency and increased outreach.
