$72,000 in needlestick violations sting assisted living facility

An OSHA inspection hit an Illinois assisted living facility with citations totaling $72,000. The inspection of Paradise Park Assisted Living LLC, Lake Zurich, IL, came as a result of a alleged needlestick injury to a nurse practitioner in November 2010, according to a May 3 OSHA news release.
