Q: What qualification does OSHA require to be the safety officer in a healthcare facility?

A: Certifications from professional organizations such as American Society of Safety Engineers and the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers could prove useful, but OSHA doesn’t have specific requirements for safety officers.
