NIOSH has just released a user guide on slip, trip, and fall (STF) prevention specific to healthcare.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the incidence rate of lost-workdays from STFs is 90% greater in healthcare than the average for all other private industries.
Slip, Trip, and Fall Prevention for Healthcare Workers not only identifies the top 10 hazards for workers but also includes tools and checklists for preventing STFs.
See the OSHA Healthcare Advisor for more information.
