California hospitals may be seeing an increase in safety and security measures after two healthcare workers were allegedly killed by patients.

Proposed legislation, Assembly Bill 30, would require California hospitals to take specific precautions for security, including more frequent training and timely reporting of incidents, reported The Napa Valley Register.,
