Endoscopes on top of health hazard list

Flexible endoscopes have topped the list of the biggest health hazards, according to the ECRI Institute. Decontamination of this particular equipment requires a very specific multi-step process, and failure to adhere to any step could jeopardize patients, says ECRI.
