Tip of the week: Emergency evacuation procedures should be consistent

Every hospital has their own policies and procedures for evacuating their facility, and usually that includes some sort of process for visually marking rooms where all patients have been evacuated.

Some mark the exam room with an “X” using chalk, others use a piece of tape to mark that a room has been evacuated.
