Spartanburg (SC) Regional Medical Center has begun using technology to teach healthcare workers the basics of RACE and PASS.
The technology involves a laser and digital flames, according to WYFF News 4. The virtual fire extinguisher has a realistic weight and feel, and the digital flames are difficult to extinguish. New employees have begun using the technology during orientation.
The $13,000 technology was obtained through a grant from the Spartanburg Regional Foundation.
