Hospital cited for workplace violence prevention shortcomings

OSHA has cited the Danbury (CT) Hospital "for failing to provide its employees with adequate safeguards against workplace violence," according to an agency news release, July 16.

The $6,300 fine is a result of a January 2010 inspection in response to a worker complaint.
