The emergency department (ED) acts as funnel into the rest of your hospital, making it a danger zone for workers dealing with potentially violent patients.
At the 4th Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium May 6-7, security expert Fredrick Roll, MA, CHPA-F, CPP, will present, “How to better prepare your ED for workplace violence and pandemic surges through security efforts.” Roll will explain how security officers can improve their readiness for inevitable violent incidents in the ED.
As a new option this year, attendees can join us for the Hospital Safety Center Symposium in person in Las Vegas or virtually via a live Webcast of the program over your computer. Virtual attendees will still enjoy full access to all course materials and the ability to ask questions remotely.
No matter how you choose to attend, the symposium is a convenient way to bolster your professional development and keep up with the latest Joint Commission physical environment trends.
