Sunday’s explosion of a power plant in Middletown, CT, is something safety committees should consider reviewing in terms of emergency management. Nearby Middlesex Hospital activated its emergency operations center in anticipation of receiving victims from the scene.
Mac’s Safety Space blog has a post looking at how the hospital used its EMS manager as a liaison with first responders.
