Experts worry that emergency conditions in Haiti will cause disease

With lack of electricity and clean water, many experts are worried disease may become as much of a danger as the 7.0 magnitude earthquake itself, reports CBS News.
With little medical supplies and attention, many survivors are at risk of suffering from infection and dehydration, reports CBS News. A growing number of bodies in the streets is also an issue. Medical personnel in the field are working tirelessly to treat patients, but experts worry a lack of medical facilities and infrastructure will hasten a disease epidemic.
