OSHA clarifies H1N1 hazard enforcement
Infectious disease experts, employee health managers, healthcare workers, and infection prevention associations have debated a variety of factors regarding 2009 H1N1 since U.S. outbreaks first surfaced in April 2009. One of the most hotly contested issues on the occupational safety and health front has been the use of respirators, specifically N95 disposable models, versus surgical masks for protection of healthcare workers.
