With life safety concerns taking such prominent spots on The Joint Commission’s most recent list of top-cited standards, it seems a good time to review what particular areas might be troubling hospitals these days.
Although the accreditor doesn’t specify what elements of performance (EP) within the standards receive the most findings, at first glance there may be a trio of EPs under LS.02.01.20 to focus on.
