Emergency Management Tip: Include vendors in EM drills
Emergency Management Alert, December 15, 2009
It's a good practice to encourage vendors in your contingency plans to participate in your emergency drills and exercises. Unfortunately, at times such vendors and other entities may view hospitals as safe havens and they expect that nothing bad can happen there.
Having them participate in these drills will give them realistic expectations about the difficulties hospitals face during emergencies.
