Should E stand for ‘evaluate’ as part of RACE?

However, attendees at the American Society for Healthcare Engineering’s (ASHE) annual conference in Anaheim, CA, in August heard a new argument that the E should stand for something else: Evaluate your facility’s training, fire protection features, and response plans. Facilities should dump the idea of nurses trying to extinguish fires, said Frank Van Overmeiren, president of FP&C Consultants, Inc., in Indianapolis, who spoke at the ASHE conference.
