Nursing home records now an OSHA inspection priority

OSHA is putting nursing homes under its enforcement microscope. The agency has announced a new recordkeeping national emphasis program (NEP) to find employers who are underreporting injuries and illness in traditionally high hazard work settings.

Nursing care facilities are the only healthcare settings included in the scope of the NEP.
