Georgia storm closes roads, schools

Roads have been shut down and electricity has been knocked out in northern Georgia after sever thunderstorms and heavy downpours, reports the Augusta Chronicle. Johnboats were sent out for Atlanta-area rescues. The storm also caused school closings in three counties. As much as 20 inches of rain has fallen on the Atlanta area over the weekend, reports the Augusta Chronicle.
