The State of New York now has emergency regulations in place for mandatory seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccinations for healthcare workers.
Health Care Personnel Influenza Vaccination Requirements became effective August 13, and apply to hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centers, certified home health agencies, long-term home health care programs, acquired immune deficiency syndrome home care programs, licensed home care service agencies, and hospices.
The regulation does not apply to private physician offices or outpatient services.
