Emergency communications tested in Minnesota

Hospitals, clinics, and emergency management areas in 30 counties in Minnesota recently underwent a large scale test of the area's communication infrastructure and technology, reports the Daily Globe.

 

Called “Operation Can You Here Me Now,” the test ensured that all emergency numbers and email addresses were accurate and that technology worked appropriately. The system could be used in the case of a pandemic to streamline information about confirmed cases, hospital bed counts, and vaccinations.
