This Wednesday, May 6, is Occupational Safety and Health Professional Day, an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of occupational safety, health, and environmental professionals who make sure millions of people worldwide continue to go to and return home from work every day.
The highlight of the day is "Protecting Workers on the Job," a free Web exposition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT. Sponsored by the American Society of Safety Engineers, American Red Cross, the Canadian Red Cross, and OSHA's Alliance, the exposition allows visitors to attend the keynote address, “Measuring Your Safety Program Success,” visit virtual booths in the exhibit hall, and network with safety and health colleagues without having to leave their desks.
