California relaxes swine flu respirator rules

Perhaps lost in the avalanche of swine flu, or influenza A (H1N1), information posted by federal and state governments last week, was an item from California relaxing regulations on N95 respirators.
During this emergency, it is okay to distribute respirators to workers without having all the elements of a respiratory protection plan in place, according to an interim guidance from Cal-OSHA.
