The overlap among various emergency planning approaches will be at the heart of the closing session at the 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium, which takes place May 13-14 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Learn strategies to meet the mandates of the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Hospital Incident Command System (HICS), and The Joint Commission’s emergency management standards during “Strengthen the links between HICS, NIMS, and Joint Commission requirements.” The session will be presented by Marge McFarlane, PhD, CHSP, MT(ASCP), the Wisconsin Hospital Preparedness Program Exercise coordinator, and Joseph Cappiello, chairman of Cappiello & Associates in Elmhurst, IL.
