No time like the present for flu shots

Think again, if you assume you successfully dodged the flu bug this year without the help of immunization.
An outbreak of flu in a Chicago school this month caused nearly a third of the student population to call in sick.
Seasonal flu can occur as late as May due to the circulation of multiple strains of flu, according to the CDC. This year's flu vaccine is a good match for strains circulating even now, so a flu shot will still offer protection, says the CDC.
