Those of you looking for ways to better train your coworkers about safety have good reason to attend the 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium May 14-15 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Marge McFarlane, PhD, CHSP, MT(ASCP), the Wisconsin Hospital Preparedness Program Exercise coordinator and a safety coordinator for Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, will be a featured speaker at the symposium. In her session, “New ideas to educate workers in the challenging regulatory environment,” McFarlane will offer techniques to further engage busy workers about safety concerns.
The 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium is a convenient and increasingly economical way to bolster your professional development in just a day-and-a-half. Early-bird registration of $795 has been extended to April 17, and $169 rooms are available until April 13 at Caesars Palace.
Also, we’ve posted a sample letter online that you can use to help convince your supervisors to send you to the Hospital Safety Center Symposium.
