Considering our first item above, you’ll have a renewed appreciation of life safety floor plans after the 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium May 14-15 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Brad Keyes, CHSP, safety consultant with The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro in Marblehead, MA, will present “Life safety drawings: The backbone of rated wall maintenance.” These drawings set the tone for the rest of your survey, so they must be accurate and presentable, Keyes told us.
In just one-and-a-half days at the 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium, you can educate yourself about not only life safety, but also emergency management strategies, The Joint Commission’s new scoring model, environment of care concerns, and much more. Early-bird registration of $795 ends March 13, and the $199 room rate at Caesars Palace has been extended to April 13.
