Last week Medical Environment Weekly advised medical and dental practices about the exemption to posting injury summaries, but this week we remind all healthcare facilities, medical and dental practices included, about the requirement to display either a federal OSHA or state-administered OSHA poster notifying employees of their right to a safe and healthy workplace.
Although displaying the poster is a requirement of all businesses having employees, it is not necessary to purchase one every year.
For more advice on what posters you need and how to download them free, see
"OSHA posters are free, if you know where to find them" on the OSHA Healthcare Advisor.
