Celebrate our 10th anniversary by entering our free contest

Today’s issue of Hospital Safety Connection marks the start of our 10th year of providing weekly e-mail updates to you. Way back on January 11, 2000, the first edition of this e-newsletter went out under its original name of Safety Connection.

It’s amazing to think of how much the hospital safety industry has changed in the past decade--from the switchover to the 2000 edition of the Life Safety Code to OSHA’s ergonomics standard coming and going, to terrible disasters within our borders that changed how we think about emergency planning.

We want to thank all of you who’ve been loyal readers along the way, and we’re excited about the next 10 years. In the spirit of looking ahead, we’ll have a weekly contest over the next month, during which we’ll randomly select winners to receive free HCPro products.

Our first prize will be a free copy of our popular Environment of Care Compliance Manual, Fourth Edition, by hospital safety officer Thomas Huser.

To enter the contest, simply click here and provide your name and e-mail address. It’s that simple. We’ll announce the winner next week and also offer another prize.

Good luck, and once again, thanks for reading Hospital Safety Connection. And don’t forget about our 3rd Annual Hospital Safety Center Symposium, which takes place May 14-15 in Las Vegas.
