December 8–14 is "National Influenza Vaccination Week," and the CDC will focus on improving influenza vaccination rates, specifically for seniors, children, and healthcare workers.
That's where you come in. December 12 is "Healthcare Worker Vaccination Day." To help you improve the vaccination rate in your facility, the CDC has provided free materials, including posters, buttons, e-cards, and web badges to remind staff members about the importance of receiving annual flu shots.
In addition to a blog post, and a downloadable influenza vaccination declination form, OSHA Healthcare Advisor is offering its first of an ongoing series of interactive poll questions, which will be updated every week. This week's question: What percentage of your co-workers do you estimate will get a flu shot this year?
