Healthcare worker safety group renews OSHA alliance

The Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP) and OSHA have renewed the alliance to protect healthcare workers by sharing expertise in the area of occupational health and safety in the healthcare setting.
The May 23 joint announcement by AOHP and OSHA identified patient handling hazards, bloodborne diseases, and emergency preparedness in healthcare facilities as areas of focus for the alliance.
