DOL posts e-tool for work law compliance

Need help in determining what federal laws apply to your workplace?here to access it.
The Department of Labor (DOL) has created an online tool that advises employers what federal laws apply and even what posters are required for display, such as OSHA's job safety and health poster and the DOL's equal employment opportunity poster.
FirstStep Employment Law Overview Advisor asks a series of questions on industry sector, business size, geographic location, etc. The program then provides the employer with:
- A short primer on each law's basic provisions
- Detailed explanations of each law's recordkeeping, reporting, and notice requirements
- Short descriptions of DOL poster requirements and links to printable posters
