Last week’s Second Annual Hospital Safety Symposium in Las Vegas proved that healthcare safety professionals can learn a lot from each other, as the exchanges with our attendees were among the highlights of the seminar.
It was particularly interesting to hear the opinions from the field about emergency management and fire safety concerns, and how colleagues were tackling problems in these areas.
Thanks to everyone who attended this year’s symposium or who checked out live coverage of the event on our blog, Mac’s Safety Space. If you want to see what people were talking about, the archived blog posts will remain up on the site. By the way, the Third Annual Hospital Safety Symposium will return to Vegas in May 2009. If you have suggestions for topics next year, please e-mail us.
