Emergency Management Alert, February 29, 2008
Do you have your very own copy of the new National Incident Management System (NIMS) Five-Year Training Plan?
It's a document that describes the National Integration Center's (NIC) responsibility to develop "a national program for NIMS education and awareness," and to facilitate common national standards for personnel qualification, according to FEMA, which also says the plan will guide the NIC's activities to support NIMS training and education. The plan is comprehensive, covering NIC responsibilities and actions as well as those of all stakeholders.
We'll lead you to FEMA, and let you access the link yourself.
