HHS releases new tools to aid local pan-flu preparedness

Emergency Management Alert, December 11, 2007

When representatives from community organizations ask you how they can take part in pan-flu preparedness, you may refer them to this document released December 6 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

It's a toolkit aimed at groups such as churches, local businesses, and other civic organizations. The package includes several components that groups can adapt to meet their needs, including talking points, checklists, fact sheets, sample e-mails, and sample newsletter articles, with background on HHS.  (Yes, it does include a section on healthcare).
