Updates to the NPPES deadline is approaching

July 16 is the deadline for therapists with National Providers Identifiers to enter their updates, changes, and deletions to the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) as required by the Freedom of Information Act, according to a CMS press release. The NPPES is a downloadable file accessible to more than 2.2 million providers. Changes made after the July 16 deadline will be reflected in the following month updates, according to CMS.
