Rehab Regs, June 8, 2007

A program to help older adults improve strength, balance, and overall health, developed by physical therapists at Boston University, was recently adopted to assist individuals living at home in Illinois, according to the Illinois-based Herald & Review.

Strong for Life was developed to help adults improve on skills they perform every day, such as getting out of a chair, walking, and completing chores. Exercise videos that vary in the degree of difficulty to suit different strength levels and abilities are used in the program, according to the newspaper.
