Older adults seek physical therapy for active lifestyles

As a sign of increasingly active lifestyles, more adults in their 50s and 60s are seeking physical therapy to improve health, according to the [Hagerstown, MD] Herald Mail. Therapists are seeing an increase in sports-and activity-related injuries. Torn rotator cuffs are one of the more common injuries. More adults are visiting physical therapists to build muscle and help prevent osteoporosis, according to the newspaper.
