SLPs to benefit from electronic documentation
Rehab Regs, April 20, 2007
A point-of-care electronic documentation system for speech-language pathologists (SLP) is in the works after the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) joined with Cedaron Medical, Inc. to help develop the system, according to an ASHA press release.
SLP Connect will incorporate ASHA's National Outcomes Measurement System and design a documentation and billing system to help SLPs treat their adult patients. The customizable program will document every aspect of a patient's care and track outcomes, according to the ASHA press release.
