AOTA celebrates military personnel

Rehab Regs, April 13, 2007

April is Occupational Therapy Month and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is shining the spotlight on occupational therapists serving in the military, according to an AOTA press release.

Occupational therapists (OT) are helping soldiers recover from war-related injuries by helping them relearn how to dress, bathe, cook, and essentially lead an average life. So far, OTs have helped 62 service members return to active duty, according to the release.
