Electric stimulation helps with paralysis

Rehab Regs, April 6, 2007

Patients suffering from paralysis might find new relief from electric stimulation, according to The Eagle-Tribune (MA). Therapists are finding that a electrode-lined device, which is worn like a brace, is helping patients with hand or arm paralysis find relief and regain movement and function.

The device, NESS H200, has the electrodes embedded in the brace, which makes the stimulation closer to the patient's muscle, reported The Eagle-Tribune.
