Rehab Regs, December 1, 2006

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is attempting to make occupational therapy a significant part of autism research, according to the AOTA Web site.

The AOTA Federal Affairs staff recently attended an Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) public meeting to stress the importance of occupational therapy for people with autism.

The IACC coordinates research activities among federal agencies and other institutions that fund autism research.
