Michigan facility thriving after branching out

Rehab Regs, November 3, 2006

TheraMatrix, a Pontiac, MI-based private practice physical therapy business has made great strides since its inception in 1981 due to the intuitiveness of its founder, Bob Whitton, according to the Daily Oakland (MI) Press.

Whitton established a network of facilities and a chain of 13 outpatient clinics.

The company owes much of its success to working with the auto industry, reported the Press.

It began by putting a physical therapy facility in a Ford auto plant and continues to work with manufacturing plants.

The network allows TheraMatrix to find less expensive insurance and join more payer groups.
