PTPN finds partner to advocate for independent therapists
Rehab Regs, July 14, 2006
PTPN, the country's largest network of independent rehab therapists, has partnered with Connolly Strategies and Initiatives, a health policy and advocacy firm, according to a press release.
The partnership will help PTPN with its lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill on behalf of its members.
PTPN President Michael Weinper, MPH, PT, said he hopes the partnership will help his organization better educate policymakers about important rehab issues, such as Pay for Performance, referral for profit, and Medicare reimbursement.
Connolly Strategies will also help educate PTPN's many therapists on how to affect policymaking in their states.
