Healis, Advance PT Network merge in Florida

In an effort to allow independent therapists to get onto major insurance carrier networks, Healis, center for fitness and rehabilitation, has merged with Advance Physical Therapy Network, according to a press release.
The merger will create a network of more than 650 PTs, OTs, and SLPs throughout Florida. Large insurance carriers will sometimes not contract with independent therapists, but the merger should help therapists to maintain their independence, while being able to accept patients with large insurance companies.
