Study: Anodyne helps reduce pain
Rehab Regs, April 21, 2006
Two recent studies show that including Anodyne therapy as part of a comprehensive physical therapy program helps to reduce pain in patients with chronic foot and leg problems, according to the Business Wire.
One study, published in the March/April issue of Diabetes and Its Complications looked at 2,239 patients and showed a 67% reduction in pain when therapists used Anodyne Therapy, a photo-energy treatment device.
The other study, published in the March/April issue of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy in Geriatrics involved 272 patients and showed similar results, as the therapy helped increase circulation.
